SOPHIE ROBINSON
INTERIOR STYLIST AND DESIGNER
Sophie has been in the interior design business for over
12 years, enjoying the reputation as one of the
industry’s top interior stylists. Regularly employed by
best-selling interior design magazines as an expert in
her field; her natural design talent and flair is
brought to life in the stunning room sets she produces
for photography.
Her reputation has led her to present both on
television and in front of live audiences.

This is an area Sophie
particularly enjoys and her abundant enthusiasm and
passion for her subject always comes across well as her
vivacious personality and individual style makes her a
very natural presenter.
Sophie began her career studying furniture design at
Brighton University, and upon graduating was invited to
produce her own range of decorative lighting for
Liberty, London. A move away from product design and
into interior design landed her the prestigious job of
Home Editor for BBC Good Homes magazine. Here she was
responsible for running the creative team who produced
the inspiring decorating and hot shopping pages for the
magazine’s style pages as well as writing features on
all aspects of interior design. Her time working for a
top selling consumer home magazine gave Sophie an
invaluable insight into her readers and their concern
and aspirations.
Sophie continues to keep her finger on the pulse
pursuing her freelance career and works across a wide
range of interior magazines. Another avenue for her
creative flair involves designing room sets for
exhibitions such as the Ideal Home Show, as well as
consulting for retailers and manufacturers.
With her partner she is renovating properties in
Portugal and Brighton as well as offering an interior
design service in the South East.
When not designing, Sophie enjoys travelling and gaining
inspiration in India and Asia. She also has a passion
for fast cars and has been competing as one of Britain’s
top lady rally drivers. Long distance and endurance
events have taken her across Europe and the Sahara
Desert.
