Kevin Godlington
grew up in Lancashire, in various children's homes
and in state care. After a spell on the streets and a
spate of committing juvenile crime as a teenager, he
joined 9 PARA Squadron RE with no qualifications.
After service with 5 Airborne Brigade including the
1994 deployment to the Rwandan genocide Kevin
finished his career with 21 SAS (R) (United Kingdom
Special Forces) as an instructor. He has served on
military operations all over the world. After
leaving the army Kevin worked in close protection
overseas together and learnt to become a commercial
helicopter pilot.
Kevin then set up his business Treejumpers and was
soon awarded the ‘Shell Livewire Award’ for Business
in recognition of its dynamic and expedient
expansion.

Treejumpers was formed by redeveloping two existing
outdoor companies giving Treejumpers management the
combination of nine solid years of experience in a
wide range of activities along with the direction
and feel of a new and young company. Treejumpers
operates from England covering 4 centres with 4 more
new openings over the next 18 months. From its
humble beginnings, Treejumpers now employees over 50
full and part time staff and facilitates activity
holidays for 40,000 children per year from its multi
million pound centre’s in the United Kingdom . Its
head office is in Kent.
Kevin, now 32 years of age, runs a property company
as well as being a joint Managing Director of
Treejumpers. Off the back of this Kevin set up his
charity the Treejumpers Development Trust, offering
residential and day trip coaching and outdoor
programmes to children from displaced and
disaffected socially deprived areas. The charity has
helped in excess of 400 children so far.
Kevin was approached to co-host the show Red Eye for
Fox News but due to permanent re location issues he
turned them down, but instead makes appearances as
British correspondent on the Red Eye talk show on
the Fox News Channel every Monday (on US schedule)
and some Fridays, then he flies to New York to do
appearances on other Fox network shows and appears
on the set of Red Eye every 4th week of the month.
He promotes his support for the troops whilst
debating current issues in the news with politicians
and celebrities. Kevin uses his slots on Red Eye to
raise money for disabled veterans and seeks to
create awareness for the sacrifices of young
services personnel on operations throughout the
world, irrespective of people’s political beliefs or
views.

Kevin’s website for his charity attracts 50,000 hits
per month and generates sales from charitable
apparel at around $10,000 per month.
Kevin has recently been interviewed by Kay Burley on
Sky News lunchtime live. In his spare time Kevin
writes for Maxim magazine (UK) and travels as often
as possible. |
