Ginny is an experienced journalist who specialises in motoring and travel. She was the Motoring Editor at the News of the World for two years where she wrote a weekly column which saw her test driving all manner of vehicles, including cars, vans and tanks! Ginny has also covered many areas of motor sport including Formula 1, the Le Mans 24 Hour Race, and the World Rally Championships.
Ginny is also an expert on motoring and transport issues, including government policy, road user’s rights and environmental concerns.
For 3 years Ginny was the face of BBC1’s prime time travel programme ‘Holiday’’, where she reported extensively from around the world as the shows lead presenter.
After leaving ‘Holiday’ Ginny joined the fast paced world of Sky News where she anchored a three hour weekday afternoon slot dealing with breaking news from home and abroad.
Ginny’s last project was a 90 minute documentary for BBC 2 where she took an in-depth look at travel and transport and its environmental impact – an idea she helped to develop.
