David Bentheim is an internationally respected
designer with expertise in all fields of interior
architecture. He runs a company called Bentheim in
Chelsea, and he and his team have won awards for their
carefully crafted leading edge projects and specialise
in bringing outstanding design to all areas of interior
and exhibition design. David works with private clients
on a one to one basis on domestic projects but also
works with retail and commercial clients as well as with
galleries and museums planning and designing exhibitions
and collections.
David was born in Glasgow and educated at Bezalel
Academy of Arts Jerusalem, Edinburgh School of Art and
The Royal College of Art where he studied under Sir Hugh
Casson. He also lectures on design both to interested
groups and Art Schools and universities.
Past clients include: Imperial War Museum, David Linley,
Museum of London, The Science Museum, Levi Strauss,
Cambridge University, Groucho Club, Guys Hospital,
Sadlers Wells Theatre, Natural History Museum, Barbican
Gallery, Savoy Group, Theatre Museum, BAA Hotels and The
European Fine Arts Foundation
David also chairs The Friends of the Over The Wall
Charity in the UK, an organisation started by Paul
Newman in the US which organises summer camps for
children with cancer and other life threatening
illnesses.
