Catherine can currently
be seen on our screens as one of the main presenters on
Teletext Holidays TV, reporting from both the studio and
locations around the world. She also fronts Vista, a
Spanish property show for Real Estate TV, co-hosted with
Les Dennis.
A talented and versatile presenter, Catherine has a
wealth of live presenting experience and is equally at
home in the studio or on location. She has recently
completed filming her third series of Britain’s Best
Breaks for Life TV/Sky, a travel show featuring
Britain’s top holiday destinations.
Catherine gained her experience of live television
during two years at SKY, where she anchored The Measure,
a daily two-hour live morning show on The Pub Channel.
Here she proved her diversity, presenting features on
food, drink, news and entertainment, plus in depth
interviews with leading industry figures.
More recently Catherine has worked for NTL and presented
the lunchtime and early evening bulletins for Frontline
News on ATV. Prior to this she worked on Living Live, a
pilot for Living TV, fronting their in-vision
continuity.
After studying drama at the Arts Educational School,
Catherine worked as an actress for several years,
including a year in the West End production of The Buddy
Holly Story. She moved into presenting in 1997, when she
was asked to front The Song Tree, a ten part children’s
series for BBC Radio 3.
Catherine has hosted many live corporate events and
awards evenings and her corporate clients include Sony,
Volkswagen, BP, Holmes Place, Prudential and British
Airways.
Apart from a love of theatre and music, Catherine is a
qualified aerobics instructor, certified scuba diver,
and most recently, a newly converted surfer – where she
displays more enthusiasm than talent.
Catherine is upbeat, full of energy and loves new
experiences. She has travelled and worked in many
countries including India, America, and the Caribbean.
She is an experienced scriptwriter, and has recently
completed a course in journalism.
