Bella is a fragrance designer with her own luxury perfume brand. She has trained with two of the world’s leading fragrance houses, enabling her to speak at corporate events, host workshops and be regularly called upon as a media expert in this field.

She is also an experienced, award-winning journalist and a naturally versatile television presenter with a background in BBC news, current affairs, culture, political, financial and lifestyle reporting.

Her fragrance collection, Bella Bellissima, is stocked at Selfridges, Fortnum & Mason and select independent boutiques. She has recently collaborated with her friend Jamie Oliver to launch a range of fragrant products called ‘Scent & Savour’ which celebrates the synergy between the worlds of perfume and food. Bella also creates bespoke fragrances for other high-profile individuals and luxury brands.

Bella graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Multi-Media Journalism and a handful of prestigious awards including the Media Society National Bursary, Daily Mail Best Young Feature Writer, BJTC Broadcast Journalist of the Year, Meridian prize for Outstanding Achievement in Television and PTC New Journalist of the Year. She gained professional accolade for her dissertation entitled “The Passive Newsroom: Limits on Active Reporting”. After leaving University she joined the BBC as a Broadcast Journalist. Working as part of the award-winning news team at BBC South she became the permanent radio newsreader for the breakfast shift. She has also produced the all-talk Breakfast Show, drive time news programme and numerous outside broadcasts. Her presenting work has taken her around the globe, from filming a number of series for Channel 4’s property show ‘A Place in the Sun’ to executive producing and presenting a series showcasing the best of European architecture and design, to hosting an event in Oman for the Royal family, to interviewing Placido Domingo at the Classical Brit Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London!

Bella has written for publications including The Times and The Daily Express and has freelanced for BBC's Newsround, London Tonight and Meridian news, among others. She is a very experienced voiceover artist with many varied television/radio adverts and audio commentaries to her name. Bella is a practised public speaker and has given university lectures on media, television, writing techniques and hosted presenter workshops. This is in addition to being commissioned to write in-depth reports on cultural, technical and policy issues within the media industry for the BBC, Sky and the Danish Government. Being an accomplished journalist, Bella relishes the challenge of tackling any subject matter thrown at her: from travel, property, architecture and business to health & beauty, fashion, food and entertainment.
