Recipe development (after
graduating
from Cardiff University with a BSc (Hon) degree) working
with the technical department and Home Economists in
store to develop recipe cards and monitor new product
development.
New Product Development Manager, Tudor Dairies Ltd
(frozen dessert own label
supplier) developing a wide range of frozen desserts for
all the major supermarkets. Responsibilities included;
developing new and improving existing products,
overseeing the whole process from initial brainstorming
to making kitchen samples, sourcing the raw materials
then scaling up to factory samples through to line
trials and finally production. Sales presentations to
buyers of all the major supermarkets.
Consultant to Losley Dairy Ice Cream;
responsibilities included
new product development and improvement to existing
products, specific projects included Losley brand and
British Airway’s desserts.
TELEVISION
One of the main presenters on Channel 4’s daytime
cookery show ‘HERE’S ONE I MADE EARLIER’.
Presenter of her own series ‘POWER FOOD’ for Carlton
Food Network shown in Spring/Summer 2000 with follow on
second series.
Cook on the series ‘MIXING IT’, broadcast on Channel 5
at evening peak time.
Regular appearances on food chat show ‘FOOD FOR THOUGHT’
(Carlton Food Network) and ‘SUPERCHEFS’
Team captain on ‘A SLICE OF THE ACTION’ for Carlton
Television.
Guest appearances on BBC 2’s FOOD & DRINK.
